Line Etiquette

Hi all me and a few of my friends got pit tickets for the Milwaukee show. I was lucky enough to get the day off so I’m the designated line waiter. I’m just wondering if anyone knows the correct way to wait. Neither of my other fiends where able to get the time of to come and wait with me. I would like to be as respectful as possible to everyone who is also planning on waiting out for it. What is the proper procedure for waiting in line for multiple people if there is one? Never waited out for a show before so any input would be helpful.
