MacBook Air- how old can I go?

Looking to get a MacBook Air for light usage, some tv streaming, don't need a lot of memory. Would like to go as cheap as possible, so going used & refurbished. Any advice as to how early of a model I can get without being at risk of becoming obsolete within the next OS or two? Thanks!
