something off about the new animation

im trying to enjoy the new animation but something abt it is off to me. idk ik everyone likes to dog on the old animation for being poorly rendered and unfinished but it had a special charm to me, especially with the way they animated marinette's wacky movements. i also love how sharp ladybug and cat noir's movements always were, you could really feel the difference and the confidence they gain with the mask.

the new animation is rendered a lot better and some character designs improved. im still not entirely on board with marinette and adrien's redesign (and idk why, it's not bc they look younger bc they look younger in the movie but i like their movie designs). but i think my biggest issue so far is ladybug's and cat noir's character movement. for some reason they don't move as fluidly as they use to but they also don't move as fluidly as the other miraculers? also ladybug and cat noir just dont move as confidently as they use to. i feel like the old animation really gave them more sass.
