I still don't understand...

The Lottie death scene...

first of all , why is she soaking wet?? and then when it cuts to the stairwell without the lit candles and she's adult dead Lottie in dry clothes/dry hair, she looks up and there's no door, just a cement wall and she appears to be stuck in that stairwell... is she in hell? Purgatory? Why is that what she got when Nat & Van both were on a regular plane with their teen self accompanying them? why a regular commercial plane and not a private plane like the one that went down? as many times as I've rewatched, I still can't wrap my head around these scenes. maybe I'm a dumb-dumb??

I also don't understand the whole thing with Lottie saying Callie is "their baby"...the baby Shauna had in the wilderness died. Callie came like 8 or so years later....where's the logic in that sentiment??

also, teen Shauna is a fucking bitch. I hate her more & more every time I rewatch. I have no sympathy for her. even though she had a baby and it died, she's an absolute nightmare. Adult Shauna is pretty awful too, but I like her better than teen Shauna.
