Help please! How can I make the Firestick remote switch to its own input?

So I use to be able to turn on the tv and hue sync box at the same time which it would send me to the fire tv dashboard but now it’s just turns on the tv only and fire stick stays off and if I’m playing ps5 then turn it off I try to switch to the fire tv input with the fire stick but again it doesn’t witch to its own input any solutions?
