eSIM/ sim question

I’m looking to activate an old phone that needs a physical SIM card for my number. My current phone uses eSIM so there’s no way to actually transfer the service over.

I believe I can go to a Verizon store to have the sim made up.

But in the event I need to eventually transfer back to an eSIM device, will there be any issue going from physical sim to eSIM, or vice versa?
