First-person shooters with great storylines

I’ve played a shamefully low number of FPS’s and am keen to play one. I’d just love a great story to suck me in (along with awesome gameplay obviously).

Preferably single player. Romance options / sub-plot is a bonus but not required.

I have played Cyberpunk main game.
