finasteride and baby hair

I started taking fin 1mg daily for a week now. I've noticed my hairline receding at age 16, but nothing too agressive. Eventually, the entire frontal layer of my hairline miniaturized, thinned and darkened (i'm a natural ginger), so it's like i have this whole dark baby hair coverage in my frontal scalp that once before was normal lighter hair. I went to a dermatologist in my country and she diagnosed me with androgenetic alopecia. I'm now taking finasteride as mentioned before and topical minoxidil at night before going to sleep.

I was wondering if anyone who has the same diagnosis or who already had a lot of baby hairs before taking fin saw their return into normal pattern hair again or if it just stayed the same. Oh and just for the record, I'm now 19 (almost 20).
