How do I get her back?

She was a fantastic conversationalist, incredibly sexy, and everything I need in a woman. It's been well over 8 months since we last spoke but today marks ONE year since we re-connected after 17 years apart. When we were much younger, we were lovers. I miss her. I did everything I could to communicate with her and let her know how much she meant to me to no avail. She's in England and I'm in California.
