The only truth promoted by Ghanshyam Pandeji (Sahajanand Swami) is to understand and follow the precepts and Dharma described in the Shikshapatri, while performing Bhakti and Upasana of Lord Narayan—the "true Swami Narayan" and the ancient Lord Krishna (associated with Radha and Lakshmi) only.

Questioning Doctrine

The only truth promoted by Ghanshyam Pandeji (Sahajanand Swami) is to understand and follow the precepts and Dharma described in the Shikshapatri, while performing Bhakti and Upasana of Lord Narayan—the true Swami Narayan and the ancient Lord Krishna (associated with Radha and Lakshmi) and his incarnations. It is essential to strictly adhere to Gurus-Agya (the Guru’s commandments) as per Shlok 207, which warns against deviating from these teachings or deifying Ghanshyam Pande and his parents as established Hindu Gods

  • True Upasana: Focus on Lord Narayan/Krishna as the supreme deity and source of all incarnations (Shlok 1, 108, 212).
  • Guru-Agya (Shlok 207): Following the written command of the Guru as the final authority, rather than personal interpretations or later additions. If not, you are automatically out of the Swaminarayan Sampraday.
  • Avoidance of Vyakti-Puja (Shlok 115): The instruction to not worship a Jiva (human) as God (avoid Vyakti-Puja), which is a key part of the original, uncorrupted teachings of the Shikshapatri.
