Need to safely make a 2-prong outlet work as a 3-prong outlet without replacing it (renting, California).

before yall yell at me, I am not planning on doing something reckless and that's why I came here for advice to see if there is a cheap solution to my problem.

I just moved into a new apartment and realized all of the plugs in my room are 2-prong outlets where the left slot is slightly bigger(i don't know if that helps but I want to share that in the hopes it does) .

unfortunately for my setup, I need at least 2 3-prong outlets to accommodate my Pc and Monitor. I knew I need a ground to protect against any wiring issues when I remembered that my hair dryer has the little test/reset interruptor buttons on the plug (I believe thats a gfci?). is there any way to use an adapter with something like that to protect my setup while providing me with the two 3-prong outlets I need?

I'd either be looking for an adapter that gives me a 3 prong plug spot for my surge-protector power strip OR one that has 2 3-prongs available. I'd really like to avoid running a 50ft extension cord from the kitchen along the ceiling to my room(but thats unfortunately seeming like the play). Total power draw is looking to be about 850-900W at max (if that changes anything)

please do not roast me for being dumb, I am trying to problem solve and ask for help to avoid creating a fire risk for myself and others.

replacing the pre-existing wall outlets for 3-prong gfci's is not currently an option.
