Switching bank accounts

For those who are trying to get some breathing space from the apps. Did you switch banks completely or open a separate bank account? I of course have worked to get ACH removed from a few. They each seem cooperative enough and was able to get autopay off a few. I was wondering should I do a separate bank account just to be sure. I do want to find a way to repay, but not all at once like it has been for years.
