Vijoo Krishnan Politburo member of CPIM says,

Through his statement that the Left will cease to exist, Rahul is trying to strengthen BJP’s hand

The most politically immature opposition leader is increasingly becoming a liability for the secular, democratic polity and weakening the fight against communal fascist forces

He had demanded the arrest of former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his deputy CM. Central agencies subsequently arrested them, and they have since been released after establishing their innocence. Along the same lines, Rahul is now demanding the arrest of the Kerala chief minister

He has emerged as the one-man demolition squad destroying opposition unity, deliberately weakening the fight against communal, fascist forces

CPM secretary M A Baby says,

The Congress should clarify whether Rahul’s strategy is to dismantle the Left and, in doing so, clear the path for the BJP

The fact that Rahul appears to be more opposed to the CPM and its Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan, than to the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi shows his political immaturity

Rahul’s ‘Left will vanish’ remark triggers political firestorm in Kerala
