Question on separation pay

I recently found out I’m 20% DoD but 80% VA which means I’ll get a separation payment but here is where I don’t understand the workings. I’m a 16 year E6 who is on the OML for E7, unlikely to pin before I separate as it’s happening soon. However my question is since I know they promote E4/5 promotable and they get the separation payment of the next rank is that the same for those on centralized promotions?
