About 20 years ago, I did 3 1/2 years for aggravated assault and weapons charges…

I’ve turned things around 180 degrees since then, and life has been fairly normal, with no trouble, but recently there was a sexual assault in my neighborhood, and when the police came around looking for witnesses, I ran back my security camera footage with them, and sure enough we found some frames of the victim and the offender, and could prove the assault did happen etc.

I don’t usually talk to cops, or get mixed up in their investigations as a civilian, but when it has to do with sex crimes and/or kids, I’m going to help the police the best I can every time.

They did catch the guy, but now him and his family harass and try to intimate me, and I’m realizing that the old me is still in there, itching to bust out and do some wild shit…

Weird situation to be in; dumb situation really, but I’m starting to struggle with it.
