I don't hate this; in fact, I love it. But subjectively, I think this is pointless, since it doesn't lead anywhere.

Iris says that Shinra, being the hero who saved the world, became very popular with girls, and therefore, she can't have him all to herself, making it clear that she had no problem with Shinra having another girlfriend, but it never happens.

But he's never shown to be popular in any way. Sure, he has friends and people who admire him. The most common thing would be for everyone to see him as an admirable man, a celebrity, and a role model, but not to the extreme of a famous singer with tons of fans chasing after him.

And that's because neither Hibana nor Inca, who are the closest to him, are interested in Shinra romantically.

While Hibana might be interested, it's more of a comedic fantasy of hers. It seems more likely that she prefers to remain Shinra's number one fan, and why would it be awkward for her to share him with Iris, since they consider themselves sisters, plus Hibana is older than Shinra.

And as for Inca, well, what can I say? She's completely crazy, and she only wants to steal Shinra's semen to have her child (even though she herself had previously told him they would fall in love), and now she considers Shinra boring simply because he won't grant her wish.

Furthermore, none of the other girls from the Eighth, or anyone else for that matter, have any romantic interest in him.

What's more, even Shinra himself isn't interested in having another relationship with another girl, since he only has eyes for Iris.

I feel like that comment could be deleted or removed from the anime/manga and it wouldn't make any difference. I think Iris was exaggerating Shinra a bit.

But if we indulge in some fantasy, perhaps Shinra has built a harem. Iris, Hibana, and Inca decided to share him equally, and he has a ton of female fans chasing after him.

This is just my subjective opinion.
