potty training help?!
OK so my daughter is 3 1/2 years old, who I am having the hardest time potty training. When she was about two years old we started potty training her and she did amazingly using the bathroom to pee but not using it to go number two. she would tell me when she had to go she was very consistent with it and had absolutely no issues. This has been going on for a few months when my younger brother, her uncle, came out of my mom's bathroom in her room, when all of a sudden her eyes nearly bulged out of her head as she screamed like she was being murdered and literally climbed me crawling up my body trying to get out the door. after this she was terrified of my mother's bathroom. I'm not sure what she saw if it was a ghost or what that's the only thing that makes any sense in my mind. About a week later I took her to my grandmother's house to visit and since it was only my mom's bathroom she was scared of, I took her to use the potty and my grandmother had blue water from toilet bowl cleaner stuff in the tank and she started screaming again and flew out of the bathroom. I have not been able to get her to use the bathroom since she will scream and cry if the toilet is open she will throw an absolute fit if the door is open to any bathroom. She will begin screaming like she is being murdered if I take her anywhere near a potty. I have literally tried everything. I've tried potty training videos with her favorite people, I've tried Miss Rachel which all she's learned from that is the potty is scary when she says "I know the potty is scary, but....." I've even bought her the bean potty training toy that they have. I've bought her a potty stuffy that she can take in the bathroom with her to use the bathroom. I've tried glitter in the toilet I've tried giving her treats stickers anything you could possibly think of including buying dry race markers and trying turning her backwards on the toilet facing the seat to draw on the toilet seat while she's using it. She will go absolutely nowhere near the bathroom without having a complete meltdown. I have no idea what to do I've tried taking her in there with me when I use the bathroom holding her hand while she sits on her training potty again but I don't know what to do and I am so tired of changing pull-ups. And it's not that she doesn't know when she has to use the bathroom because if I put big girl underwear on her she will hold it until I put a pull-up on her. She tells me mommy I pee pee or I pooped when she uses the bathroom. She tells me mommy I have to go to the bathroom. i've even tried keeping her in nothing naked for three whole days like they say online to try doing that it works. Nothing works to get her near the bathroom or the toilet again. I just I don't know what to do but she's getting too old to be in pull-ups and I really need help figuring out how to change the situation of her being terrified of the bathroom. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
