inventory adjustment as a ba?

hello! i have been a ba since october. as holidays ended i started getting more tasking hours and my hours shifted towards opening in general. after doing inventory adjustment lists, my opening manager will log into the mia and have me put in the numbers and finish it. is this normal? i am kinda uncomfortable with it because why do i do it if it’s restricted for managers only? couldn’t they give me access to it somehow if i needed it? do taskers have access to do inventory adjustments? i just started thinking about it and i’m scared i might be fired if higher-ups find out 😅
