Jorge and Vanelle: My views on their final argument

I'm watching the show with my girlfriend, and we just reached the segment where Jorge and Vanelle break up and leave and after reading some opinions in some people's threads in this reddit I also have some stuff to say.

(firstly, I genuinely hate the premise of this show, but that's a whole different conversation. )

A lot of people in this thread were dogging on Vanelle for saying she is celibate. Saying she was only saying that and being sexual at the same time so Jorge would stay with her "for the box," and I genuinely think that is vile. Let's not forget this is 60 year old man who 1) lied about not having kids and 2) lied about being okay with Vanelle's celibacy even before they were out of the resort.

Now, concerning Vanelle's celibacy, it does not matter if she gave him head, it doesn't matter if she dry humped him. She stated clearly that she DID NOT WANT PENATRATIVE SEX UNTILL MARRIAGE. Okay, she isn't exactly straight and narrow, christan celibate. She said she didn't want to have penatrive sex and Jorge didn't respect that.

She did what she was comfortable with, and all she did was place a boundary, and that old man didn't respect it. He lied to her face about having kids and every single conversation they had sounded like me talking to my dad.

Then people are flaming her for saying she was uncomfortable in that situation, saying she wanted a dominant man and when he does these things she is uncomfortable. It's okay for her to voice that! they could have had a clear conversation about that and it could have brought clarity. What did Jorge do? say he will never understand cause she's a woman....

I will say I didn't agree with who she chose, but guys, she's in her 20s! she is also navigating her faith with all of this. I don't agree once again with who she picked, but that man was a creep who didn't respect her at all, and I don't think she deserves to be called what I've seen alot of people calling her on this app.

Christans litterally call anal "God's loophole". Vaginal sex is a huge deal. Goodness gracious. She gave consent for some things, put a boundary up for vaginal sex and just like that ppl calling her a pick me...
