My car’s ignition sounds like it gets stuck when I’m trying to start it

Got a 2005 Malibu with the v6, could my starter motor be going out. It sounds like it gets stuck trying to start so I turn it off an it starts fine the next time. Is my starter going out or can you give me any advice? Thanks in advice
