Made a free tool that auto-generates iptables, UFW, nginx, and AWS Security Group rules from your current IP
Sick of this workflow:
$ curl ifconfig.me
$ sudo ufw allow from 203.0.113.42 to any port 443
Built ipwhitelist.dev — detects your IP and generates the exact command for whatever you're configuring.
**Supported configs:**
- `aws ec2 authorize-security-group-ingress --cidr YOUR_IP/32`
- Terraform `aws_security_group_rule` resource block
- MongoDB Atlas CLI `atlas accessLists create`
- `gcloud compute firewall-rules create`
- `sudo iptables -I INPUT -s YOUR_IP -j ACCEPT`
- `sudo ufw allow from YOUR_IP`
- nginx `allow YOUR_IP;`
- JSON payload for API/Pulumi
Also has a "Share Card" feature — paste it into a ticket or Slack so someone else can whitelist your IP without needing console access.
Other free tools on the same site: Port Checker, DNS Lookup, SSL Checker, IP Location Map, HTTP Headers with security analysis, Latency Test to AWS regions, IPv6 detection.
No account needed, no data logged. Static site.
