So 3 days ago i posted this, and i got refund for both of my installation request and i thought i should share it with community so anyone who face this in future should know what to do.

Here is what happened

I applied for fiber connection and somehow midway due to work i had to skip it and i thought I'll continue after finishing important task, however i got call from one agent and he said did you applied for fiber connection, typical call so later i gave him details thinking he'll do it and also thought maybe he'll earn some commission so that's good (ye bhaari padega muje), later after filling and confirmation of installation i got call from him saying mistakenly he filled form of air fiber instead of fiber, i said cancel it and once i get the refund I'll proceed myself with fiber connection. then he said you'll get the refund once the new request is generated, I'll forward it for cancellation as soon as possible, now i do work from home and my entire work depends on internet so i thought it's okay to pay 1500rs more for another request so installation don't get delayed and any how I'll receive the refund, so agreed with him and he filled the form again. now after filling form he just vanished.

no answers to call, no reply, nothing, I'm left with both Request in-progress

so aftee that i tried calling 121 but no way to talk with human agent, tried sending DM on twitter and tagging airtel through tweet but they ignored me like I'm some creep boy who is trying to send DM multiple girls (jokes apart)

later i sent some fake email screenshot to the agent (the one who is not replying) and said i work in airtel and I've forwarded your number to my internal department for necessary action, also shared one real screenshot of email to appellet authority and later he called for 4-6 times, picked up at 7th time and he said I'll cancel as soon as possible please withdraw my number from your internal department and with appellet authority too, i said fine first cancel any one request once i see the refund after that I'll do it, he cancelled one request within 6 hours and second request also got cancelled within another 3 hours.

Lesson:

always book fiber connection by yourself, pay the upfront amount by yourself, avoid work through agent specially payment related stuff as much as you can. and last but not the list don't think like me "oh agents do work hard and they have sales target to meet so let me him book connection on behalf of me" else you'll suffer what i have suffered.
