Do you have to have a color scheme?

I’m always a bit unsure how to answer this question when people ask. My bridesmaids are in black, and things like plates, charges, tablecloths, etc. are white (venue is an upscale hotel in the city).

My florals are all monocolor (red). My reception dress is also red. Sometimes when people ask I say the color scheme is red? I don’t really have any colors going on besides black, white, and red. Is that my color scheme?
