my marriage is 50/50 and i love it

as a wife i never liked spilting a bill or planning every other date. i thought 50/50 was a dumb concept trully. but with my husband, i rarely pick up the bill. i don’t pay my rent. he is the main financial contributor. he plans dates. drives everywhere. buys me flowers and gifts.

but on my half although i may never have to grab my wallet, i cook whatever he wants any night of the week. i make his lunch before work. i take care of our dog all day. i pay to furnish our apartment. i plan all vacations. he gets gifts all the time.

50/50 is the best way to do a relationship, it’s just not the black and white way everyone perceives it to be.
