AITAH for telling a couple about some facts before they go on vacation?

So, as the title says, there is a couple that is going to Japan, so I tell them basically a few facts about Japan, like there are no trash bins in Tokyo, and the reason why, and to be careful because there is a group of people that... well harass and/or fight both local and tourists. I feel like I, but in where I should not, it happened before with other people. I told them some information about where they are going, and other people got angry about it. But back to the main plot, I want the couple to have a fun time, and I want to give them info so they can have a fun and safe vacation, but I feel like I basically said nonsense. So am I the AITA?
