Never had more than $5000 in my balance before

Feels insane to realize this but my whole life so far I’ve never had more than 5k available balance. Until now.

For the past 12 years, I’ve been giving my entire salary to my wife every month to deal with finances, and leaving $800-$1000 for myself to spend monthly.

About six months ago I told myself this has to change.

Now I’m sitting here with 16k in the bank, and on my way to 100k. I am debt free and will stay that way.
