Doordash becoming over saturated

Has anybody else’s area been completely over saturated with dashers lately? Unfortunately i lost my platinum status, and sadly for my whole entire area you NEED platinum status to be able to doordash because of how over saturated the area is. Dash now is never available, there’s never an open schedule even if u sit there and refresh the second it becomes available, you won’t ever see a single thing. Not only that, all of the areas around me are the same as well they are just grey 24/7 with not a single open schedule in sight EVER. You have to drive an hour or more a way and doordash there until you are able to get back up to platinum. Is anyone else experiencing this over saturation in their area?
