So what’s the wildest thing your child did today? As in just today today?

Our toddlers have a tendency to push my husband and I into a melodic trance that combines emotional numbness with nonstop background screaming every single day. I’d love to hear everyone’s crazy stories to remind all of us that kid life is normal

So I’ll start:

I was doing the dishes. Our 2 toddler boys both under 4 fell completely silent (yes I should’ve known!) before they burst into uncontrollable giggling behind closed toilet doors.

I scrambled in there and found a whole bunch of toys, their indoor push bike, a bluey trolley and the whole load of ball pit balls strewn across the tiles of our tiny guest bathroom. And everything was drenched

Turns out they were washing their toys by collecting toilet bowl water from a mcdonald’s cup they got from the kitchen bin (how??? when??) and started “showering” the toys 😭

What I didn’t mention was, the toilet was partially clogged. Meaning the water still does down but it takes a long while and we’ve yet to fix it. And i’m 10000% sure this was the result of my older boy’s godzilla sized poo earlier that day

We had a fantastic day 😂 Love them to bits no matter what
