Why are "Zionists" the common enemy of almost every country and group of people in the world?

In my opinion, the propaganda stating that "Zionists" are the source of all of the evil in the world is very easy to see through and doesn't make any kind of logical sense. But it seems like the average person has fallen for it (the amount that most people hate "Zionists" is terrifying). So why have most people fallen for the same badly made, obvious propaganda?

Disclamer: I oppose the genocide in Gaza, and I think the government of Israel is incredibly cruel and sadistic. I'm technically still a Zionist though, because I support a two-state solution and apparently this means I'm literally Satan.
