Does she want to wait or trying to quietly go?
39m going through a divorce. The process started about a year ago, but still going through it. Since then I have met a couple people, but one in particular I really hit it off with, who is around my age, so I'm not worried about games being played. We have already shared many memories together, and talked about how after the divorce we would get serious.. However recently, she has wanted to call it quits until my divorce is finalized. I definitely understand and respect that. Her and I still communicate from time to time, sending texts/calls/I love yous, but things of course are different. I can't help but feel I'm starting to loose her. Her social media pictures still involve hints of me, but again we don't talk as much. Last time I saw her a few weeks ago, I could feel the connection was still there, she told me she loved me, came over for a hug/kiss. And even afterwards, she would contact me within an hour giving me a compliment. But since then we've started to act like strangers now, until she sends me a text after a few weeks to say hi. I do my best to give her some space, but I miss her company and companionship.
Could she really mean she is truly wanting to wait until my divorce is final, which again is perfectly fine, but she enjoys the times we do see each other or talk? Or does her lack of communication signify she's trying to quietly move on?
