Tilde's boxes - bug or my error?

Hi! I'm fairly new to the game, but I accidentally forgot to take Tilde's boxes to the flea market after I picked them up. I've brought them the next time around, but she's acting like they're not there, saying she could only bring [x] things on her own with the same three items available. Her boxes are just sitting outside my shop.

Is this a bug or have I ruined my chances by forgetting them the first time?
