Migration US

hello fellow engineers, I would like to ask what opportunity can I get, my gf and I are living in different countries, I'm here in the PH, she wants to take me with her sa US and was worried that my profession will go to waste if she will get me to migrate there. I have a 5 years experience with Master Plumber License. What job can I get there and what are the chances that my Licenses here in the Philippines will not go to waste. I badly need your advice. Btw, I'm taking up Masteral in Construction Management this coming July.
