Once the playoffs start, seeds 9-15 in each conference plays each other in a knockout style march madness competition. The higher you finish- determines your draft lottery pick. If you don’t own your pick for that year, you participate regardless, Even if you have to roll out your G league team. This tournament has to end before the completion of the first round of the playoffs.
