eBay seller sold me Ray Bans that aren't Bausch and Lomb 80s vintage as listed but eBay sided with them on return...
To be as brief as possible, I collect vintage eyewear. I saw a listing titled rayban outdoorsman aviators. sometime by looks alone it's hard to tell if they are the good quality Bausch and Lomb or newer poorer quality luxottica owned
Item description says keywords Bausch and Lomb and the item details say 1980s but they are not when I got them. I started a return due to item not as listed, the seller has returns accepted from when I bought them.
the seller isnt saying they are Bausch and Lomb just arguing that the listing doesn't claim that anywhere that they are. they went so far as to contact eBay support and had the return denied.
I know eBay support knowledge is limited in this area I'm nervous to go through with an appeal before making sure I say the "right things" even though I'm in the right here.
if eBay support still denies the return what's the next step? I just don't understand this bc if they accept returns any reason should be valid to send them back unless I damaged them or something...
