Help deciding between GM1 works plus vs GM2 works plus

They are both currently “on sale” right now for Easter. Trying to decide if $1050 price difference is actually worth it between the two models? Do they currently share the exact same software? Like are the same AI based modes available on both iterations? I guess I’m primarily concerned on how soon GM1 would become “obsolete” and no longer get additional updates.

Has anyone owned or used both that could tell me if $100 difference is worth it to get GM2 over GM 1?
