am I being self- centered?

❓ Question

Recently I had (am currently having) a really bad mental episode. I pushed people away, broke up with my boyfriend, etc etc. Well, I've been trying to get myself out of the hell hole of mental illness and reconnect with people. My best friend, we will call her cas. She stuck with me, but really only ever in person. Whenever it's the weekend or after school, I am the one that has to reach out. (Has always been a problem for me, as I don't want to be an annoyance). And usually I'm okay with being alone, but it's all the time. Nobody reaches out, nobody wants to talk, nothing. Cas had told me that she'd be there for me whenever I need to talk. I took her up on that offer a couple times, but every time it'd be hours before she responds. And I don't mean to sound needy, or bratty, but at point I don't want to talk to her anymore. And I have friends that I hang out with at school, but once the bell rings it's like they forgot about me. I'm just tired of being the first one to reach out. Sorry if this was long and confusing, ask questions if needed. But, I would just like to know if I'm being self centered, and needy. If I am please let me know how I can fix the way I feel.
