Starting a CS degree at FSU

In fall of this year, I will be starting my computer science degree at FSU. I was hoping to get some insight on what I should be prepared for, and more specifically, how I should be preparing for my courses.

Should I start learning the basics of programming languages now? Will I get left behind if I don't, and what courses do you recommend if you think it will make a big difference?
