moving out at 18 as a girl

my parents are generally somewhat chill as sri lankan parents go, so i dont have any major issues with that. I mostly just want my own independence and personal space. its something ive always wanted. im already done with school(London ALs), and I earn about 500k a month through some online stuff. I know that it's enough money to live comfortably so that's not what I'm asking. I just want to know how common it is for people in sri lanka to move out at this age? also is it safe as a girl? and what should my budget for rent be?(I live in colombo for context). I'm turning 18 in a few months so I just want to start planning now.
