Is liberalism struggling in gen z?

I don't know if it's in my country but our generation used to be very progressive and open minded. And now I feel like things changed. Many guys that I know are openly expressing misogyny. and girls tend to like these kind of guys. Am I imagining this or is it real? and if so what do you think has caused this?
