I hate to say it, but I cannot stand the ending. I thought it was fine at first, and I liked the idea of the spinoffs happening... until I watched them.

First of all,; the ending was okayish, it was disappointing that they rushed the entire season 10 and 11, and just lazily made characters die, and then geared Daryl, Carol, Michonne and Maggie and ESPECIALLY Negan with plot armor.

I think it's safe to say that none of these characters are dying, which is good when you put into "My Favs" category, but realistically if you have no problem with killing characters like Andrea and Carl (who are BOTH WAY more important than Daryl, Carol, Negan and Michonne combined) when you look at the source material, then why are you building characters in the spinoffs.... JUST TO KILL THEM OFF!?; Oh, you need to kill characters that no one loves because you're afraid of viewership loss....???

The ending was just for the spinoffs, as I said which I had no problem with until I watched them... in particular Daryl Dixon.

Spoilers: Carol is not in S1, and Daryl on his own is very compelling with Isabel and Laurent... so... next season, they bring Carol back, kill Isabel, quickly rush up the arc, end it all, refuse to put Carol and Isabel on screen until Isabel's death, and S3, we will just move to Spain guys. ????????????????

Dead City is just Maggie taking back what she said to Negan in TWD series finale, and going back and forth on killing him, then having her son hate her, drama, drama, drama, more viewership... we get it, AMC.

TOWL - the most unrealistic walking dead story yet... Michonne just "finds" Rick, after the spend all the universe time catching her up to the main show and the rest of the shows, have Rick and Michonne somehow (plot armor) take out the CRM, but they couldn't at least have the CRM overrun by their pointless variant walkers... no no, they had Rick and Michonne have the CRM become the good guys.. yayyyy... 6 episodes, for a happy ending... baby, this is the walking dead, not a soap opera?????

The logical direction would've been to have Michonne and Rick escape the CRM - Jadis rallies the CRM and it's a huge war against the Commonwealth for one extra season where all the spinoffs + ftwd come together. Missed opportunity, of course, AMC.

My point stands that the ending of the main show sucked, it's pointless - because everything that made the spinoff concepts compelling, were erased. Daryl Dixon was good even without Carol, and S3 is okay, but S2, killing off Isabel, getting rid of Laurent and Ash like they just needed them gone, erasing Frances biggest threats in a heartbeat, having religious fanatics assume control, die by the Betrayal of Anna Valery, wth happened??? At least have Isabel die on the boat to France?????????? Idk... again, the writers fucked everything up, I am sorry.

I can't be the only one who feels this way....

TWD ending and finale, it sucked!
