This feels really scary for me to post, so please be kind. I still find it quite hard to look at my before photos, but I remember how much posts like this helped me at the start, so I hope this can help someone else too.

I started Mounjaro in March 2025 with the goal of getting into the 9-stone range for my holiday to Florida in April 2026. I was really anxious about the long days in the parks, all the walking, and the summer clothes I’d need to wear in the heat. I’ve always struggled with body confidence, especially in things like shorts and cropped tops.

I honestly can’t believe how close I am to my goal now. I never thought I’d see 10 stone, especially considering I was 11st 13lb when I left school.

When I began this journey, I was 14 stone. I shared a post a few months ago showing my heaviest weight. I still have about a stone to go, but it finally feels within reach. If you feel like a slow looser compared to others, please don’t give up - I saw those loosing 2 stone in 2 months and it really made me feel discouraged at my progress, but 1/2lbs a week adds up! The confidence I am starting to feel is amazing, unfortunately body issues are still there (I think they always will be if I’m being honest) I finally can wear shorts and crop tops for my holiday in a few weeks 🥳🥳🥳

I am on 5mg and have been for majority of my journey (7.5 was way too strong for me and I struggled with intense side effects for a week) I am also 5”2 as I had a few questions about height on my previous post as 10 stone sounds tiny (but on my height and build I still have a lot of fat on my stomach and hips)
