I got tired of depending on luck and timing to find clients. So I made a free lead board that does the searching for you.

Discussion

I've been editing for years. I'm not bad at it. But finding the next client has always been the part that feels random.

Some weeks I would land two people through Reddit or a referral. Other weeks nothing. Not because the work dried up but because I wasn't checking the right place at the right time. Someone posts "looking for an editor" at 2 AM, by morning there are 30 other editors in their inbox and I didn't even know the post existed. Unfair? Yes.

The actual editing work was never the problem. The inconsistency of finding it was.

Meanwhile the best gigs were going to whoever happened to be online at the right time. Not the best editor. The fastest one.

So I built something for myself. A system that pulls from Reddit, YTJobs, and YouTube every few hours, scores each lead by budget, intent, and niche, and puts the best ones in one place.

The YouTube side doesn't just look for job posts. It scans for creators whose upload frequency dropped or who just hit a growth milestone. The kind of signals that mean they probably need help but haven't posted about it yet.

The full system isn't ready yet. I'm still testing it on my own business. So far it's pulling over 150-200 leads a day and handling outreach automatically, but I want to make sure everything is solid before anyone else uses it.

In the meantime, the lead board works. It takes the best leads from the last 48 hours and puts them in one place. Figured I would put it out there while I'm building the rest.

It shows who is actively looking for a video editor right now. Scored, filtered, updated throughout the day. You can see a few leads without signing up. Full board just needs your email.

No payment. No commitment. No catch. If the leads are useful to you, great. Consider this a small thank you for supporting me early on with this idea. If you think the scoring could be better, tell me. I'm improving it every day.
