How do i find a local mosh pit?

I’m finding it difficult to discover new places and small bands near me that host mosh pits. i live in broward fl and sometimes a good band or artist will show up at a near venue but other than that the local metal/heavy metal/hard rap scene seems pretty dry here. anyone got any ideas or recommendations as where to look?👀
