Fenix 8 support for Shimano Di2 Hood Shifters

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a new bike equipped with a Shimano Di2 (R8150) electronic shifting system, including the hood buttons on the shifters.

I was able to successfully pair my Garmin Fenix 8 (software version 21.25) with the groupset, so the connection itself works fine. However, I couldn’t find any option to configure or use the hood buttons on the watch.

From what I’ve seen, Garmin Edge devices already support assigning functions to these buttons:

It would be great to have similar functionality available on the Fenix series. Being able to control features like scrolling through data pages, toggling the backlight, or other functions directly from the shifters would significantly improve usability and safety while riding.

Is this feature planned for future updates, or is there already a workaround I might have missed?
