urgent: can't access money

I'm in Vietnam and can't buy anything, not hotels, food, anything. Every time I try to make a payment it is declined and says it requires verification. I can't log in because my US number doesn't work here. None of the international/toll-free phone numbers work on my tourist SIM. I have tried every contact form, email address, and phone number, so now I'm posting on reddit.

I can't tell you how frustrating it is to not have access to money in a foreign country. I told Schwab I would be overseas but it seems to have had zero effect on their "fraud prevention" which is effectively food and shelter prevention.
