How do you know it’s time?

My question is basically the title. How do you know it’s time to pitch the idea?

We’re in our late 20s, together for 2 years and I’ve had this fantasy since we got together. Our sex life is active enough, although I feel like she wants more than I can offer.

When did you know it was time to fully commit and start this lifestyle?
