Boomers have successfully broken the Sanatana culture.

Boomers (I am also including Gen X) Hindus had inherited a patriarchal and uneducated society, no doubt. But instead of integrating progressive ethics and modern scientific temperament into Sanatana culture, and passing true knowledge and cultural identity to next generation they retained the patriarchal system (especially men), made traditions either secularized "fun activities", or fake performative rituals or rigid backwards superstitious woodoo "andhbhakti".

The next generations was exposed to westernized culture, and Hindu culture at the same time.

Western culture with emphasis on modern, scientific and secular ethics was not only glorified but also systemically integrated into life. Hindu culture slowly degenerated to fake rituals, "secular festivals" or "andhbhakti" embedded in the default patriarchal structure of society.

Boomers also were the first to start the "nuclear family" breaking the traditional joint family system. Now they want their children to stay "together".

Boomers are also very entitled. They feel they are correct with what they are doing, doesnt matter that what they are doing is neither "traditional" nor completely modern. A large chunk of Boomer and Gen X men are unhealthy, egoistic, implusive and very boring, yet they like to lecture younger generations and women about things which can be found in books or internet or just give complete braindead advice, most of what Boomers and GenXers say is complete BS, outdated and has no utility with respect to modern world or true Sanatana culture, yet they feel they are correct. They dont read any book or any Shastra and take knowledge from Whatsapp.

With all the cesspit of cultural dengeneracy that Boomers and GenX have created, the Gen Z is bound to be attracted to more western culture, atheism, and western modernity. Because Hindu modernity made by Boomers is complete degeneracy. It is unfortunate that today's Indic minded generation (which is a small population ofc) is relying on social media and English translations of Shastras for knowledge, while their previous generations spent time dancing to Bollywood songs, drink alcohol and oppress women.
