Need help buying a new phone
I’m planning to buy a new phone with a budget of around ₹30,000, and I’m pretty sure I want to go with Nothing. But I’m stuck deciding whether I should stretch my budget a bit and go for the newer 4a/4a Pro, or just stick to my budget and get the older 3a Pro.
My main priorities:
- Camera quality (this is the biggest one.. I’ll be using it a lot for photos)
- Good storage
- Decent overall performance
Also, I really liked the new pink variant they launched, which is kind of tempting me to go over budget 😭
So I wanted to ask:
-
Is it actually worth stretching my budget for the newer 4a/ 4a Pro, or is the 3a Pro still good enough in terms of camera and performance?
-
How big is the real-world camera difference between these models?
-
Does the newer one have significantly better processing, or is it mostly just marketing?
-
What’s the cheapest way to buy it in India?
-
Are there any student discounts available anywhere?
-
Which platform usually gives the best deals — Flipkart, Amazon, official site, or offline stores?
-
When do prices usually drop? (sales, card offers, etc.)
-
How is the long-term performance and durability of Nothing phones?
-
Any common issues I should know before buying?
-
Are there better alternatives in this price range that I’m ignoring just because I’m fixated on Nothing?
I don’t want to make a dumb emotional decision just because I liked the color, so I’d really appreciate honest opinions, especially from people who’ve actually used these phones.
Thanks!
