PSA: If you don't want to keep cooking for food, visit Greymane Shrines

Prefacing this that PA could balance this since it feels kind of an exploit.

There's a chest location right by the shrine that contains 10+ food and whole bunch of crafting materials (based on the food that you get so you can cook more of it) that you can keep re-opening whenever you reload the world, usually by teleporting.

I'm not sure if there's a trigger for it or you can do it from the start of the game, but if you're struggling or just don't want to interact with the cooking mechanics of the game this should help you out. There's a shrine to the east of Hernand Town with a close by Abyss Cressent if you're looking for one.

I'm also not sure if the kind of food you get is based on the chapter you're on. I'm on Ch11 and getting decent food from it to just spam.
