Is it worth arriving early for the Semester 2 Welcome Program? (Intl Student)

Hi everyone! I'm an international student joining USYD for Semester 2. My current plan is to arrive in Sydney around July 27th, which matches my current OSHC start date.

​However, I noticed the Welcome Program runs from July 20 to July 31. I'm debating if I should change my flights and insurance to arrive early (around July 18) just to attend the full Welcome Program and Welcome Fest.

Is the orientation and Welcome Fest worth the extra cost of arriving earlier? or is it okay if I just show up closer to Week 1? Thanks!
